World of Warcraft: Cataclysm 4.2 Update

World of Warcraft remains a phenomenally successful online game with a huge player base. While Blizzard Entertainment is still rolling out the 4.1 patch update, which includes a revamped version of the Zul'Aman dungeon area, the developer is already working on update 4.2. It will introduce huge amounts of new content to complement the game's latest expansion, Cataclysm.

The 4.2 patch will also include a new area known as the daily quest hub, which will provide new content for players who aren't necessarily ready to spend all their time pursuing raid content with large groups. "We understand that not everyone is a raider, but we want to let players still feel like they can go out and strike a blow against the fire elementals. To that end, you can imagine two giant islands of rock floating above the Firelands--one is the raid dungeon with Ragnaros, and one is the daily quest hub." The new area will apparently have layers of quests that unlock successively as you complete earlier steps, and it will have up to about 60 total quests. Said Street, the daily quest hub is "definitely more for solo players who aren't interested in raiding and just want more content to explore."

As day eight of the PlayStation Network outage nears day nine, Sony has posted a newQ&A regarding the data leak that accompanied the service disruption. Two days after itsaid that personal information was compromised, the PlayStation maker is trying to soothe customers' fears by saying that all credit card information submitted to the PSN was encoded.

"All of the data was protected, and access was restricted both physically and through the perimeter and security of the network," the company said in a statement on the officialPlayStation Blog. "The entire credit card table was encrypted and we have no evidence that credit card data was taken. The personal data table, which is a separate data set, was not encrypted, but was, of course, behind a very sophisticated security system that was breached in a malicious attack."

The January-March quarter was a good one for Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division, which includes the company's Xbox 360 business. The division saw revenue for the sector reach $1.94 billion, a year-over-year division increase of 60 percent.

Play Station 3-Q Music Unlimited

Q Music Unlimited is a cloud-based, digital music service that gives music lovers access to a constantly expanding catalogue of over six millions songs from major labels including Universal Music Group, Sony Music Entertainment, Warner Music Group and EMI Music, as well as local and independent labels from around the world.

Q Music Unlimited is initially available across Sony's 2010 models of network-enabled BRAVIA TVs, Blu-ray Disc players and Blu-ray Home Theatre systems, as well as PlayStation 3 systems, and personal computers, including VAIOs. Over time, it will become available on a range of Sony's portable devices as well as Android-based mobile devices and other portable devices.

At this time, Music Unlimited is not available on PSP, although it will become available on PSP in the future. The icon appears on the XMB Menu as part of our future planning for adding the service.
